A dreamy ode to small town claustrophobia from the classical instrument-toting section of Brighton’s prolifically intriguing Wilkommen Collective. 'Somerhill' conjures images of an impeccably mannered, moustached gentleman of the 1930’s, who by day cycles through the village, waving innocently to the butcher, baker and candlestick maker, but by night is found boozing and womanising in some sweaty backstreet opium den. Salaciously threatening b-side ‘Bye Bye Kitty’ confirms The Miserable Rich as denizens of chamber pop’s dark side. - Patrick Burke

Label: Wichita
The incredibly young First Aid Kit manages to astound once again with their latest single. As much as it is wrong to continually focus on the sisters' ages, there's just no way of avoiding it when these two teenagers are making such mature music. When surely they should be out drinking illegally, doing whatever the scary youth of today do, they produce, 'I Met Up With A King'. It's a heartfelt, stripped back song that showcases their harmonious vocals cracking under the strain and undeniably, it’s their most raw track to date. - Chris Ebbs
