The Officially Unofficial Judgement Day

Invading every corner, festivals have cropped up with circling vengeance this summer to dominate cities, parks, and even in a student’s backyard, creating festivals into almost a distasteful capitalized playground. While punters are spoilt for choice, we desperate diehards search for “the” festival that will knock our mud-ridden socks off.  Artfully creeping into the attention of all since 2004, Isle of Wight’s Bestival is a boutique and gloriously vice infused festival, drawing punters to get naked, suit up in fancy-dress inventions and wash away British stiff upper lip with the remaining summer days.

This year, the invitation to transform into space inspired creatures, welcomed a weekend of dual personalities, and erratically SUPERSWEET discovered more than we’d bargained for. So in 80’s ‘Mork and Mindy’ attire SS’s Gemma Dempster challenged punters who sided with the other, the invaders, the ALIENS, exploring their motives for the human race. She got to grips with the fleshies, the home team, the HUMAN’s and their cosmological involvement, all in the ultimate verdict of who would win, in a battle of ALIENS versus HUMANs?!
