
Lately, SUPERSWEET has been made subject to some interesting and, dare we say, lazily ‘imaginative’ parlance. Never mind etymological correctness, lingo these days has gone all ‘chop-suey’ on the old verbal P.C and even abbreviated some words to within an inch of their life. Think Nu-Rave meets Chaucer in a black hole up Shakespeare’s arse. And with summer festivals nigh on high, you better learn how NOT to speak if you wana get fetch. So forgo the Queen - bring out the gimp and lets bastardise the hell out of English Language.

Av it - expression, Joy and proud-won satisfaction: "Av it, my son!"

Blogebrities - n. Bloggers who become net-famous.
Boombox – n. Hoxton club night associated with scenesters who typically style themselves to this particular occasion, ie: out-dress each other in bright, bold alternative fashions. See also Scenesters, Retro-runners, Posers and Scene Crashers.
Bubble – v. Rising up, making it, Ie: "I think this band is about to bubble."
Bouncing out – v. Moving on, getting out, spilling out of an ill-fitting bra when running for no reason at all.

Coughpetition - n. Competition that involves 2 people or more coughing (battle of the coughs) from fag-hagging.
Culture Jammers – n. Culture aware generation with interest in combined literature, art, music and related intellectual studies to develop new strands of artistic custom.

Dollar – n. American currency. Like its slang synonym Lolly, apparently fetcher to pronounce than the British Pound: "Got any Dollar?"
Easy – expression To ease up on someone or something: "Easy tiger!"
Facehunted –Social networking on face credibility alone as opposed to personality.
Fakesterrs – n [plural] People who fake it bebe darrrling.
Feisticles – n. Cold but feisty: she’s cool but she’s too much of a feisticle.
Fetch – adj. Cool, attractive.
F n’ F - adj. Fresh and fly.

Gay – adj. slang Lame or useless. Formerly slang for homosexual. Back in the old days it used to mean ‘happy’. Remember that...
Gang Bang – v. Getting together.
Hornblower – n. Shit stirrer. Possibly an erotic nautical fantasy for some minds…
Ice – n. Ghetto slang for diamond bling.
Jack n’ Jills – n. Pills, aka Ecstasy or any pill shaped form of illegal medication, sometimes, in a shop,.also means the till.
Jack-shit – n. Nothing

Poser - n. Someone who tries to fit into a certain label-group e.g Scene Kids, Hipsters, Emo, Grunge, etc
Queen – v. informal queen it over to behave self importantly as though better than everyone else. Like, get over it, y’know?
Retro runners – 1) Followers of retro-fashion representing their alternative/indie sect to the extreme. 2) Someone running for the bus in retro clothing.
Scene crashers - n. 1) Any member pertaining to mainstream society encroaching on alternative soil and dispelling the cult vibe, ie, Chavs crashing on Hipsters. 2) Scenesters vying to out-do one another at rival club nights, parties etc.
Seasame Street – n. Because we like it, and so should you!
Sick – adj. Great. See dope.
Snapparoo – n. happy slang Photograph. Possible also a happy crocodile.
Tanked – adj. Tanked up on piss, ie, Drunk. Av it, yeah!!!
Watevzzzzz – Abbr. Whatever. Careless concern. A shrug-off. Sooo teenage….
Zip it – expression, As in: "Keep your mouth shut you gobby idiot and don’t repeat any of the words we’ve just taught you…"
