The Good Shoes Scrapbook

RAAAAAARH!!!

It’s the umpteenth time watching, participating and reviewing Good Shoes, and we’ve simply had enough! Instead, SUPERSWEET cheated a little bit...we whacked out a Hello Kitty jotter (don’t ask) and some kiddie highlighters we pilfered from an ages 3-6 magazine to get the fans scribble and put on paper their creative worship for the four-piece.

Understand this wasn’t an easy task! After finding out a lot of the audience were promoters, supporting bands (LA Shark, Stricken City, Is Tropical, The Brute Chorus) to hardcore black-eyeliner'd journalists, we felt a little downhearted to find a true born fan. But in SS spirit, we finally discovered how so many punters that travelled for hours to see the band, a couple who despite having their phone stolen soldiered on, to even us, SUPERSWEET, falling on stage, bursting skin, and welcoming bruises all over just to chant “The Way My Heart Beats”.
