Mullin jumped on a Liverpudlian bus at 7am in the morning just to play for us on our sun-filled balcony in London. He’s from Northern Ireland but doesn’t write songs about it. He likes Billie Holiday. His songs are about everything and nothing and he wants to be a Mexican in ten years time. “If I were to describe my music, it’d be folk with a bit of pop. But the folk people wouldn’t call it folk and the pop people wouldn’t call it pop.
